Sign your work and pat yourself on the back. You’re AWESOME.
Think of something you worked on. Can be a web app design, copy for your company website, sound effects in a video… Now imagine you’re a random visitor who likes what you did—will they know it’s YOUR work? It’s usually a “yes” if you’re the only person involved. For bigger teams it’s usually a “no”.
People should be visible. We try to give credit when credit is due—we tweet, we blog, we say “thank you”. But that information inevitably gets lost and we can’t do a separate team page for every little project of ours (oh boy do we do a lot!). And if we can’t… the entire low-tech world can’t.
So there came this crazy idea.
Could we build an app that generates a team page for everything? Can we inspire other companies and make this a standard? Could people be discoverable directly through their work? Can you do a web app for attribution? A web app for appreciation? A tool that could make people shine?
We build Credictive. Cred-ictive. Cre-dict-ive. Credictive. Credictive.
Or—an early beta of it because there’s so much more to come. What you see is the consumer part, a b2b part is coming. We might be even changing our name if enough people hate it!
It will one day answer the question “Who did it?” for everything on the web. It’s not just for geeks. It’s for everyone who ever helped create something. For designers. For developers. For all video makes. For performing artists. For dancers. For painters. For furniture designers. For tech support people. You. Get. The. Point. Happy “creding” :)
